Soccer Isolation Training Class
at Sylvan Lake Park

This training is provided to build standards and a work ethic into players ages 10 - 18.

Exercises which increase skill and flexibility of footwork are indispensable for the players. Many players fail to appreciate how much true speed depends on the economy of motion (good form and in coordination).  Thus, constant mechanical drill (practicing the activity) is essential.  A certain amount of emotional stimulation helps as well.

Qualities: It is not the daily increase but the daily decrease. Hack away the inessentials!

As Trainers, we shall:

  1. Find the truth.
  2. Examine the problem.  (problem is not separate from the answer)
  3. Problem contains answers
  4. Know the problem
  5. Dissolve the problem.

One of the finest exercises for the development of a sense of balance and coordination with the ball is soccer isolation training.

Instructor will direct players in activities that will be challenging to individual players in a group environment.

Instructor(s): Edson Munoz  (Soccer Trainer), Kamal de Gregory (Seminole County Representative)

Soccer Isolation Training

This training method is designed to isolate specific movement that a player needs to improve on daily.

Age:
Developed for soccer participants above the age of 9.

Duration: Full Program is done weekly.

Summary: Soccer ISO Training helps individual players to see their strengths and weakness in regards to ball control while adding various pressures to increase performance.

This type of training improves performance speed in individual task events by:

Perception Speed: Places players in an environment where the elements of the individual and ball are the main elements. This allows for a complete focusing of self in the moment without distraction. Also, it makes apparent the individual demands placed on the individual.

Mental Speed:
This speed is improved by the effort to constantly decide on actions that must be chosen for a smooth and effective display of soccer movements.

Initiation Speed:
In the area of improving performance by where each player begins their physical movement, each participant is pushed to economize and maintain the most ready position for their upcoming actions.

Performance Speed:
The actual physical movement involved in completing a skills task is improved through constant and dynamic repetition of sets of skills that build the soccer player to the point of instinctual 'isness'.

Adaptation Speed: Any time during this training changes occur instantly. It is up to the player to adjust either their recognition, decision, where they begin from physically or their actual execution of each task if something changes in the midst of action.
