SAMPLE INBOUND TOUR

Day 1 – Welcome to Sydney International Airport, where you will be met by your SCA Representatives, who will be with you for the duration of your stay in Australia. You will travel by coach to Valentine Park Motel located just 30 minutes drive from the heart of the city of Sydney. After induction and check-in you can sit back and relax, or take advantage of the training facilities including: 5 flood lit soccer fields; a multi-purpose indoor gymnasium suitable for most indoor sports and a 20 metre outdoor lap pool.

Day 2 – Travel by coach to the world heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Experience the thrill of Australia’s steepest incline railway and if conditions are right, take a cable car ride from one side of the valley to the other. In the evening you play your first game on tour against a New South Wales club team.

Day 3 – Take a tour of the city of Sydney visiting the historic Rocks, Sydney Opera House and Centre Point Tower. The activities conclude with Australia’s newest tourism sensation, the Harbour Bridge Climb! Under the supervision of experienced guide’s you get to take a 360º view of everything Sydney has to offer.

Day 4 – Hone your skills with a full training session in the morning before taking the field in the afternoon for your second tour game against a Sydney high school team. We recommend that after a full and physical day you sit back and relax or chill out by the pool.

Day 5 – After competing in two tour games in Sydney, it’s off to Australia’s capital city Canberra for some sightseeing, including Federal Parliament House, the Australian Institute of Sport and Questacon. Settle in with your host family and experience the local culture. In the evening you play your third tour game against an Australian Capital Territory team.

Day 6 – After 5 days on the go, spend the day with your host family and experience Canberra through the eyes of the locals.

Day 7 – Travel back to Sydney by coach. In the afternoon you’re off to Sydney Stadium to watch a game of premiership rugby league – one of Australia’s favourite sports. See first hand why a country of just 20 million people is so passionate about sport.

Day 8 – In the morning, fly north to Brisbane, Queensland where we will be met by coach and travel to the world-famous Gold Coast. Spend the afternoon at one of the best beaches in Australia before you play your fourth tour game against a representative team from the Gold Coast.

Day 9 – It’s time to forget about sports and enjoy a fun-filled day at one of Australia’s famous amusement parks – Dreamworld, Seaworld or Warner Bros. Movie World. At the end of the day we promise the only thing you will be looking for is your bed.

Day 10 – Travel north by coach to the Sunshine Coast one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations. After checking in to your hotel, use the training facilities to prepare for that night’s game – your fifth on tour.

Day 11 – Get up close and personal with the local wildlife at Steve Irwin’s Australian Zoo. Discover why they can handle everything from a carpet python to a crocodile. And don’t forget to bring your camera, because this is an experience you will really want to share with family and friends back home.

Day 12 – Sharpen your skills and get ready for your final game on tour, your sixth, where you take on a Brisbane high school team. Spend the remainder of that day and evening enjoying the local surroundings.

Day 13 – Today you leave Australia for home and take with you the experience of a lifetime – that is, until you visit us again.
